Intelligent Movement for a Body That is Always Changing.

Mariel Little, PT, DPT, CLT, CYT

Dr. Mariel Little is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and longtime yoga instructor whose work lives at the intersection of clinical rehabilitation and human movement. Through her private practice in Lakewood, Colorado, she provides individualized physical therapy for people recovering from breast surgery and cancer treatment, managing lymphedema, recovering from injury, or navigating pain and movement limitations.

Mariel has a particular focus on breast cancer rehabilitation and post-surgical care, supporting patients through the physical changes that can accompany surgery, reconstruction, radiation, and cancer treatment. As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Mariel's clinical practice specializes in supporting lymphatic function with a combination of lymphatic drainage and compression therapy.

Her work also extends beyond oncology. Mariel helps people recover from injuries, manage persistent pain, and navigate changes in strength or mobility, with a particular interest in helping people continue doing the activities they love. She approaches rehabilitation as a process of understanding not only what hurts, but to retrain movement patterns and build capacity for long term healing.

Teaching yoga sine 2013, Mariel's years of practice have shaped a deep interest in how the body moves, adapts, and learns. She brings her doctoral training in biomechanics and movement science into her yoga teaching, helping students and teachers develop a more nuanced understanding of anatomy and alignment.

Whether she is helping someone recover from breast surgery, manage swelling, return to a favorite activity, or better understand their movement, Mariel's goal is to help people develop a deeper understanding of their bodies and the tools to move through life with greater confidence, capacity, and connection.
